Cribs

I ended up getting 2 of the Graco Lauren Convertible cribs for my girls and they are beautiful. They are very sturdy and reasonable. I got them from Target.

PNV

I was very gaggy from Prenatal vitamins with their nasty after taste. But this one was the best one after all of the ones I tried. I got a ton of samples from my OB.
I also took Folguard for extra vitamins as directed by my OB.

Angelcare baby monitors- Angel Care Deluxe Plus

After much research and talking with friends that have these, my husband and I decided to buy 2 of the Angel Care Deluxe Plus Baby Monitors. I was having a hard time transitioning them to their cribs because I was scared of SIDS. Even though you see 2 pads on this does not mean it works for 2 babies. The two pads go under the mattress and the two parent monitors show you whats going in that crib for that one baby. You must have 2 cribs, 2 sets of Deluxe Plus Angelcare Monitors and each baby in there own crib for these to work. The difference between the deluxe and the deluxe plus is that the plus covers more area. With the basic one with one pad the baby can roll in the corners and give you a false alarm. So I would rather go ahead and get the deluxe plus to prevent my rolling babies from triggering false alarms that scare me to death. I have been able to sleep better now. Because these have sound feed as well as temperature alerts on them in case the room is too hot or too cold. I could not afford to pay $170 each for these brand new so I bought 2 off of ebay for $100 for one and $80 for the other and I am pleased. Shop around! :-)

Fisher Price Sit-Me-Up Floor Seat vs Bumbo

I received 2 bumbo seats from family. They have been passed around for awhile and definitely hold up but I sat my girls in them sometimes and to me my girls are just too floppy in them and I didn't like them. My mother in law found the Fisher Price Sit Me Up Floor Seats at Babies R Us and the were on sale for around $35 and they are worth it. My girls were premies so even though they are 7 months they still aren't sitting up completely unassisted so we use these for feeding them baby food and it works perfect. It has helped them tremendously. One of the best items I have.

MAM Pacifiers

We tried quiet a few brands of pacifiers. And with them being premies these fit perfect and actually one of my twins still likes this size at 7 months. But as they have gotten older they have all different sizes of them but we stick with MAM.

Bottles- Dr Brown's

We tried all sorts of bottles with the girls. And these seem to work the best to me. There is alot of parts to them though so if you don't have a dishwasher then I do not recommend. We have two little baskets and we put the small parts in them and the nipples go on top. We heat them up in the Avent bottle warmer, I got it because it was the cheapest one at Babies R Us and it works just fine.We used the 4 oz with level 1 nipples until probably 4 months then went to the 8 oz with Level 2 nipples. Don't buy too many 4 oz ones and level 1 nipples because you will need to move up before you know it. They are 7 months and we are still using Level 2 nipples because the Level 3 is just too fast. Every baby is different. But I knew absolutely nothing about all of this and was so lost on the bottle aisle.

Pack n Play

This is a Minnie Mouse playard I got from Babies R Us. It was very pricey thoug. Around $219 I think. But it works good. Its not too big so it didn't hog up much space in my bedroom. My twins slept in it from when they came home until I transitioned them to their cribs and it worked great. I honestly never used the top attachments, I only used it with the bed part up top and always went to our nursery to change them. But by 7 months it will really be of no use to you unless you plan to have more children.

Jogging Stroller

InStep Grand Safari Swivel Wheel Double Jogger Tan/Pink

After the girls were a few months old I started searching for a jogging stroller. But I did not want to spend that much so I kept looking around and I found this stroller and I really love it. The girls enjoy it too. It has speakers and a cord to plug in your phone. I got it for a steal of $86 with free shipping off ebay and everywhere sells them for around $150 to $200 I believe. But knowing what I know now I would of paid that price too. Only con is that it is big and heavy to lift.

Double Stroller

After much research I ended up buying this from Target I think it was around $79 then. This stroller is very light and folds up quick and easy. I bought our carseats from Babies R Us and they work perfect with it. They are the Graco Snug & Ride and most car seats are compatible with this. The car seats are heavy though but I think all are once you put the babies in them. The car seats are rated down to 4 lbs so when they girls came home at 4lbs12oz they worked great and are still using these at 7 months.  It makes taking the twins out easy because you just snap them in this and go and it fits in all doorways easily.

Diaper Bag- Petunia Pickle Bottom Abundance

After much research on forums, etc. I ended up going with the Petunia Pickle Bottom Abundance Diaper bag. I could not afford the brand new ones in stores so I kept watching ebay and I got one "like new" for $75 with free shipping. It was worth it though because it holds everything. And trust me when you travel with two babies you need extra everything in there. One baby will always have a blow out or spit up, etc. Definitely happy with it. I also have a smaller diaper bag that I keep extra in my truck for emergencies.

Sonoline B fetal Doppler

Around 10 weeks I ordered this. I was so paranoid that the babies weren't going to make and my husband got tried of my constant worrying and suggested this. I was able to find their heartbeats at 11 weeks with it. And I still have it and it works and my twins are 7 months old now. I paid $56 with free shipping off of ebay. It was worth every dime. And it works just like the one in the OB's office.

Belly band for back support

I got big in a hurry so the pain in my back got bad and I started having braxton hicks. One thing I noticed was that after my doctor recommended I use a support brace it really did help when I wore it. I ordered it off of ebay and it was only around $20.

If you search for it, it is called a white maternity belly band for pregnancy back support.

Introduction

Hi everyone! I will start off blogging with a little more information about myself. My husband & I have been together 8 years and what we always dreamed of has finally came true. Thanks to God we are proud parents of beautiful twin girls. I started thinking of how there was so much information out there when I would try to find out what things to buy for twins and I ended up getting way too much. So hopefully I can help you and save you some storage room in your house ;-) and some money for things you will not use. My journey was rough. I had IVF and ended up with severe OHSS and then bled for weeks. My babies continued to do great though. We had scares with marginal cord insertion and high amounts of amniotic fluid around one twin. But all was fine. I went on bedrest at 24 weeks due to a shortening cervix and my blood pressure. I was hospitalized for a month and delivered 2 months early due to Severe Preeclampsia. My girls spent 2 1/2 weeks in the NICU and one had feeding issues in the beginning. But they are perfectly healthy now! Thank you LORD!!!!
